For those looking for a dream Italian vacation, this is the place to be! The house is surrounded by olive and hazelnut trees, a well-kept garden and large terraces with outdoor seating. It has a private pool and is in a quiet location.

The front door is on the second floor, up a lovely stone staircase that leads to the main entrance and then to the living room. The living room manages to be gorgeous and cozy at the same time. With a magnificent open fireplace, a chandelier and a well-stocked bookcase. There is a couch and two armchairs and French doors overlooking the garden. Built in ancient caves, the dining room is truly splendid, with a large table for 8 people. From the dining room, a stone staircase leads to another extraordinary hallway that, like the dining room, is half cave and half brick.

The kitchen is more modern than the other rooms and tastefully renovated with stone tiles and wooden cabinets. It has a large stove, an oven, a dishwasher, and an American refrigerator. There is a large rough wood kitchen table and 8 chairs for casual dining.

The mosaic-tiled pool is located slightly below the house on a terrace in the hillside. It has sun loungers and a raised shaded area where guests can relax and admire the beautiful view. Table soccer, trampoline, table tennis and a playroom are available for children.

The four bedrooms are spacious and bright, decorated with fresh cottons, eye-catching artwork and beautiful antique furniture.

Nestled in picturesque, verdant countryside just 20 minutes south of the beautiful city of Orvieto, guests are spoiled for choice: there are so many delightful places to visit. Orvieto is the nearest town and one of the most beautiful in the region. Perched on a hill, with its famous cathedral and delicious white wines, the town has much to offer. In addition, there is the local food market in Piazza del Popolo, every Thursday and Saturday (closes at 1 p.m.), where you can buy the freshest local produce to cook at home.

The city of Viterbo (45 minutes by car) is a medieval jewel built on much older Etruscan foundations. It is home to some splendid palaces, including the not-to-be-missed Palazzo dei Papi, papal seat for 20 years in the 1300s. There are many hot springs in the region, and the grandest are the Terme dei Papi, fit for a pope, which are definitely worth a visit.

Lake Bolsena (30-minute drive) is the largest volcanic lake in Europe and offers a wide range of activities to try, including horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, windsurfing, and water skiing. The lake is surrounded by many sights and is a rewarding day trip.

The nearest airports are Perugia (1 hour and 5 minutes by car) and Rome Ciampino (1 hour and 30 minutes). There is also Rome Fiumicino airport (1 hour and 45 minutes).

Presence of artwork by a well-known Danish artist Louis Rosen Schmidt. The house is furnished with his works and shows his history as a kind of museum. Among these works are landscapes of people and playful erotic nudes, nothing vulgar but all artistic placed in the hallway and not in the rooms or halls. Please be careful, as far as all the works are concerned, not to handle them because they are valuable works, we apologize if they are not appreciated by each and every guest, they certainly add luster to the house as well as value.
